The sismic hazard is classified as 3 in Cessy (previously 1b). According to the ‘Décret no 2010-1255 du 22 octobre 2010 portant délimitation des zones de sismicité du territoire français’ CERN is classified as seismic zone 3, ‘sismicité modérée’.
The hazard of dangerous materials transports is created by the gas pipes from “Gaz de France” located on the border of the town. Point 5 is not affected by this hazard.
